Additional Information:
Received Sheriff's “STAR” Award for a Geographic software project that verified data received from vendors during 1998. The Sheriff's department was being provided geo data from a local vendor for interfacing with Computer Aided Dispatch (E911). The vendor could not provide any QC process to show accuracy. The data was to be interfaced with the County 911 CAD center and I was concerned about the integrity of the data. Since I had other priority projects within the nature of the Sheriff's Office, the project was completed outside the scope of employment.
